Bethesda just announced the release date for Fallout 4 along with some game play and the Fallout 4: Pip-Boy Edition.
As someone who is a long time Fallout fan, this is the best thing ever! The Pip-Boy edition comes with your very own Pip-Boy, a pocket guide, a Vault-Tec poster, a stand for your Pip-Boy, a capsule case, and a metal box with the game. All this for $120. From what I’ve heard, it’s not available at Gamestop. If you want to buy it, it will have to be Best Buy, and Amazon (If they get more in stock). I can’t wait for Fallout 4. It shows so much promise.
For those of you missing out on E3, you can watch it on Youtube here.
So, it’s been a while since my last post. By the looks of it, it was February of last year. Wow, a lot has happened.
I’ve been a volunteer fire fighter for about 8 months now. It’s been an awesome adventure so far and I thoroughly enjoy it. There’s actually a lot to know besides ‘get to the fire and spray water at it’. There are so many rules that are kept in place just to make sure everyone gets back to the fire house without a single scratch or burn. Not only that, but there are so much politics that happen behind closed doors. Sure, we all consider each other brothers and sisters, but it gets a bit complicated at times.
It definitely has its perks though! The people you see, the connections you make are incredible. Everyone in the department loves to talk about being a fire fighter. From the calls they’ve been on, to the shenanigans they’ve seen in house. If anyone has a local volunteer fire department, I highly recommend trying it out!
I’ve also enlisted for the Marines. I get shipped to basic training in about a year. So far, it’s been the hardest thing I’ve done. And as annoying as the other poolies can be (Sorry, guys), they’re all still really cool. There’s this one applicant who I saw during my first Poolie Training (PT) who was huge (Again, sorry). After a while you could see that he lost A LOT of weight. That kind of motivation is truly inspiring and I’m extremely impressed at his dedication. I can’t wait to see him become a full fledged Marine.
I’m still going through college. It’s becoming a hassle with costs and such. However, I love going down there and seeing everyone. If you’re considering going to college but you’re not sure, I suggest going for at least your associates degree at a community college. It’s cheaper than going to a regular college and you will meet awesome people.
I’ll be sure to keep you all updated with the latest anime, moves, and video games. Thank you all for showing interest in my dumb little life!
So today, my family and I went to go see the movie Robocop. However, instead of going to your everyday movie theater, we traveled to New Jersey to check out the AMC Dine-In movie theater.
For boxed foods (because there is no way they can prepare all that food in that time) it was pretty good. However, I will not be going back anytime soon. First of, the servers were not the best. We had to ask multiple times for one thing and it took forever for them to arrive. The servers also stand right in front of you, so seeing the movie becomes difficult. The seats weren’t the best in my opinion either. They fell in too much and mine squeaked a lot so I couldn’t move much. I prefer a regular theatres seats. However, while I have complaints, I did enjoy it a lot and would recommend someone who hasn’t tried it to do so.
As for the movie, Robocop, it was a great movie in my opinion. It didn’t have a slow start, had a lot of action and a decent plot. It didn’t feel like it dragged on or went to fast. I’m pretty sure the Samuel L Jackson scenes were just there because of Samuel L Jackson though… and I’m fine with that. I enjoyed the movie though and would recommend anyone to see it.
Your wallets can rest easily now, the Steam winter sale is finally over! This was definitely a unique sale this time between the new wave of games from 2013, the new trading card system Valve implemented, and the final day DDoS attack on steam. Amazon also felt like joining in the holiday madness and dropped prices on their website to either match, or beat what Steam had. I can’t wait to try the new games I got! The games I got are:
State of Decay
Fallout: New Vegas
Metro: Last Light + DLC
Game Dev Tycoon
Red Orchestra: Rising Storm
XCOM: Enemy Within
Tomb Raider + DLC
Far Cry 3
Bioshock Triple Pack
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
So, for those of you who were unaware of what happened to the Steam servers on the last day of sales, Valve was hit with a DDoS attack (Distributed Denial of Service) Which floods traffic onto a website until the servers shut down. The attack was supposedly done by Twitter user @chFtheCat. He claims because Hacker group Derp Trolling attacked EA he attacked Steam. Already within the past couple of days 5,000 Runescape accounts have been unleashed to the public, and Minecraft, League of Legends, Electronic Arts, Twitch, Valve, Battle.net, and multiple other websites and servers were shutdown from this wave of hackers. The internet has become a battlefield and it looks like it wont let up anytime soon. Everyone will just have to be patient until these events die down.
Until next time -TMtrue
P.S. – A quick thank you to everyone who has viewed my page! Thanks for showing some traffic so early into this!
Well, Unbreakable Machine-Doll finished airing in japan last week and I feel I should post my thoughts on it. Unbreakable Machine-Doll takes place during the early 20th century where magic and technology are used as one. This is called Machinart. The ones who practice this art are called Puppeteers. Puppeteers use this art to develop animated machines or “Dolls”. These dolls while controlled by the puppeteer, are free thinking. The dolls are powered by these circuits which were originally used for military purposes, however, over time they have spread worldwide.
The series focuses on Puppeteer Raishin Akabane and his Doll Yaya. Raishin has made it his goal to enter a sort of tournament and become the Wiseman. The wiseman is considered the best puppeteer and is a sort of king. Placement in the tournament is only available to the top 100 students in the school. However, his plan becomes more complicated when he receives his test grade as one of the worst students in the academy, which earns him the nickname Second Last. I give the story a 7/10
The art in this anime is absolutely superb! The characters looked well drawn and they looked like they belonged in that time period! I wasn’t a big fan of the CGI they put in the fight scenes, but I didn’t notice it at times. I give the artwork to this anime a 8/10
The voice acting in this anime was pretty good in my opinion and the music was also great! I loved the opening music. However, I’m not one to stick around for the ending theme song and the one in this anime (While catchy) didn’t encourage me at all to stay (This is my opinion. I’ve heard others have liked it a lot). Overall, I give the sound an 8/10
The characters here in this anime in my opinion could have been better. Everyone seemed too confusing at times. Raishin is your standard male protagonist, Yaya is obsessively in love with Raishin (As well as every other unique girl in this anime) and can cause a scene at times in public. Some of the characters do this annoying catchphrase thing where they repeat the same sentence over and over again while changing the last part (This in my opinion is very annoying at times). I think the characters are the weakest part of this anime. I give them a 6/10.
Overall, the anime is decently written, the voice acting and sound is great as well as the art, and the characters are very generic. I would recommend this anime to others and would watch a season 2 (If one is made). I give it an 8/10
If you would like me to review an anime, let me know the name of it and I’ll watch the first couple of episodes. I’ll make a review and I’ll give you one more review when I finish it. Here is my anime list http://myanimelist.net/animelist/TMtrue
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
